Velvet

Velvet is a fabric with a luxurious texture and appearance, characterised by its soft, velvety surface. It is a shadowed fabric, meaning it tends to shift in shade depending on the lighting. Velvet looks particularly striking in rich, earthy tones such as green, deep brown, grey, and blue. Modern velvet is often made with blends of synthetic fibres, viscose, or polyamide. This elegant material is currently very popular in interior design and is widely used for furniture and decorative items like cushions. Velvet blends beautifully into home interiors, making it a fabric well worth considering when choosing new upholstery. Over time, some areas of the fabric may lose their soft velvet texture – this is a natural part of the fabric’s charm and character. How to care for velvet: To refresh the fabric, use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld steamer. Bonnell springs

These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress.
