Velour

Velour is a glossy and soft fabric that tends to change shade depending on the lighting. At first glance, it resembles velvet, but they are distinct materials. Velour can be made from either natural or synthetic fibres – most commonly cotton, polyester, or a blend of both. It is produced using a knitted construction, which gives the fabric a slight stretch. With proper care, velour-upholstered furniture can retain its original appearance for longer. To remove dust, use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment. If liquid spills occur, blot the surface gently with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub the fabric, as this can damage the pile. For tougher stains, use a mild water-based cleaner, and always test any cleaning product on a hidden area first.

Zig Zag springs

Zigzag springs are among the most popular choices in upholstered furniture manufacturing. They are mounted at equal spacing along the furniture frame. 'Dolphin' unfolding mechanism

This is a simple and convenient solution that allows you to transform the furniture into a bed with minimal effort. To unfold the bed, simply pull the lower section towards you to slide out the drawer containing the additional mattress. Then, using the built-in loop, lift the mattress upwards into position. The sleeping surface is slightly firmer than standard options. Thanks to the fixed backrest, this piece of furniture can be placed directly against a wall without affecting its functionality.
